Chapter 8:::::::
I think that it is really rude the Nick wants Gatsby to forget about Daisy..... When Gatsby is ready to move on from Daisy and to forget about her I think he will do that at his own pace and at his own time... He doesn't need Nick or anyone to tell him when. I think its really sweet that Gatsby did all those things to get Daisy to like him (: Its good to see that he felt close to her before and can still feel the same way about her now(: I think that is true love when you can love someone and then come back after so many years and still feel as if nothing has changed and nothing is different. Its kind of a bummer on Gatsby though how Daisy said she would wait for him, but then ended up marring Tom.. ):  OK so its a little weird that Gatsby doesn't want the gardener to drain the pool even though he never uses it and never wants to use it... if the leaves are just going to clog the drain I don't see the big deal in draining it... oh well....I think its weird that Nick doesn’t want to be at work and doesn’t want to go on his date with Jordan Baker…. But I guess its really his fault if you think about it… he didn’t have to go talk to Gatsby and then get all upset and worked up that was his own fault… I don't get why Wilson killed Gatsby it just doesn't make any sense.... and then why did he end up killing himself???!!!
Chapter 9::::::
AWWWWWWW!!!! its really sad that no one will go to his funeral ): its like his friends were not real friends... that they were only his friends for his money and the parties he throws.... its just sad to see that only a few people really cared about him enough to go to the funeral.. I am even surprised that Daisy doesn't go the funeral ): I think its good that Nick didn't want to shake Tom's hand... what Tom did was rude and disrespectful. If Tom hadn't of told Wilson that Gatsby was the one who owned the car Gatsby would still be alive and so would Wilson... its not Gatsby's fault that Myrtle got hit by a car its not his fault that she died.... So why should Gatsby have to die... Also, I think its good that Nick has came to see that Tom and Daisy are cruel selfish uncaring people and that they deserve each other.......... its kind of weird how Nick thinks of everything as if it had happened in the West even though it entirely took place in the East.... ahhhh welllllll.... its cool to see Nick's perspective of things... I like that he thinks everyone lives of the same dreams and are motivated by similar beliefs....

Chapters 6 &&& 7

Chapter 6::::
i thinks its crazyyyyy how rumors are still being told about Gatsby... why cant people just give him a break ): not cool! I think its really cool how Gatsby has been on a yacht before!! Also, i like how he got is name Gatsby and that his real name was Gatz.  It was really messed up how Dan Cody's mistress would not let Gatsby collect his inheritance after Cody died... but hey he became wealthy.... speaking about him getting wealthy im really glad he dedicated himself into becoming a wealthy and successful man and was able to do so.... OHHHHH and i really reallyyyy reallyyyyy like the reason to why he is not  a drinker... its just cool to see that he can make that decision when he was younger and stil be able to hold through with his decision(:wow wow wow not cool i dont think Tom should have invited Gatsby over to dine with them if he did not mean it... thats just really messed up!!! ): but i guess its also really weird that Tom doesn't trust Daisy to hang out at Gatsby's house alone... i think if they are to be married they should be able to trust each other a little betterrrr...... its really sad how Tom upset Daisy...... but i liked how Daisy stood up for Gatsby when Tom was baggin on him........ awwww its really sweet how Gatsby is so in love with Daisy and just wants her to leave Tom... (:    

Chapter 7:::::::
wowwwwwwww its soo cool how Gatsby called off all his parties and fired all his servants just for his true love..... things are getttinnn hot threee... they are obviosuly crazy about eachother so they may as well just make it an official thing instead up just keeping their feelings kept up inside of them...... I don't think its cool that tom confronts Gatsby about his college life, and his feelings for Daisy, and how he makes up stuff about how gatsby got all his money... i mean reallyyy Gatsby is a good guyyy people need to leave him alone(: oh myyyy oh myyyyyyy  i cant believe that mrytle got hit by a car and it just so happened to be that Gatsby and Daisy were both in that car....awwww gatsby is like a hero he is hiding to make sure that daisy is safe.... thats how you know that the love is trueee(:

chapter 3, 4, and 5 for The Great Gatsby

Chapter 3:::::

So I think its cool the Gatsby is a cool guy and is well known... but I’m not a big fan of the reasoning. I don't think a person should have a lot of friends and be well known just because they throw big elaborate parties in their mansion. but hey I guess if he doesn't have a problem with it I don't either its his life... also, another thing about Gatsby he has got to get tired of people drooling over how nice his stuff is.. I mean seriously that kind of thing has got to get annoying he can't help that he can afford nice things and that he is in the category of the wealth. One thing that I do happen to like about Gatsby though is the fact the he does not drink, that he keeps away from the party. I like this because it shows that he can be responsible and mature. It also shows that he has good will power and self control because usually when a person is surrounded by people who are drinking its hard to not fall into the pressure around you. So what I don’t get is why Nick would follow Daisy and Tom’s advise about seeing Jordan Baker when he knows that she is a fundamentally dishonest person and that she cheated on her last golf tournament. To me that seems like a stupid idea, why would someone be interested in that kind of a person?!?!?! I just think personally that that is one of the weirdest things possible, to be attracted to a person you know is dishonest and really doesn’t care.

Chapter4:::::

In this chapter I don’t know whether to think that Nick believes Gatsby or to think that Nick thinks that Gatsby is making all of this stuff up…. Ok so Gatsby end up getting pulled over for speeding. I don’t quite understand what the white card is. I mean how can a card get you out a ticket with the police, to me that is just a little ridiculous, like the officer even apologized like he should have known better or as if it were some kind of an inconvenience. Nick, this guy I just don’t understand. Why does he think that Gatsby’s wealth comes from him and that one other guy committing a crime together… you know I think Nick just wants Gatsby to be some bad guy and he will think of anything to make him look as if he were some kind of criminal.  It’s a little whack how Gatsby is in love with Daisy because she is a married woman and people should not be crushing on married people that’s just weird and wrong in sooo many ways. It’s a weeee bit crazy how Tom has not been able to stay faithful throughout his and Daisy’s marriage. It is really cute how Gatsby bought his house so that he could be by Daisy that just made me so happy its like one of the cutest things EVER! But hey this book is just like on big love mess, it seems like everyone is with the wrong person in a way.

Chapter 5:::::

I think it is really nice of Nick to be helping out Gatsby. I don’t think its cool that Gatsby was trying to like bribe him into doing it. It was also weird though that Nick didn’t accept the offers either, but hey oh well he is just being a nice guy and helping out so that’s chill. Oh yayy I was really excited the Daisy showed up I was kind of a little nervous and was thinking that she wouldn’t show, but she did so yayy! I liked how Gatsby and Daisy started of all awkward, but then like after they were left alone so a bit they were fine and getting alone really well. I like how Gatsby tell her about his long nights and stuff like that(: so it was really funny how Gatsby and Daisy just forgot about how Nick was with them and he just ended up leaving. Ha that part made me laugh so hard. But it makes me wonder are the two going to fall in love? Is Daisy got to have an affair with her husband? I’m just really curious now to see what happens with the two of them. The way that things are looking now I think there is a possibility that they may fall in love or something will happen that will lead to her doing stuff with him and no longer being as faithful as she is now….

            

            

Sharing my Writinggggggggggggggg

Question 1:
- I am apprehensive about sharing my writing because I am scared of what people will think of it. Mainly becuase I don't want people to be like ohhh this is horrible an make fun of me for it. ):
 Question 2:
- I fear that no one will like it and I don't want to have the worst essay or what ever we are writing in the classs.
Question 3:
- Honestly I have no idea what the best case scenario would be.... soooooo idkkk....
Question 4:
- The worse case scenerio when that could happen when I share my writing is that everyone will hate it, and people will make fun of me and then I will feel even worse then I already do... :(

THE COLD MAKES ME WANT TO......

the cold make me want to do a lot of things. The cold make me want to go bundle up in about 4 blankets 1 being an electric blanket. It also makes me want to make either hot coco, coffee, or a nice cup of hot tea. Also, it makes me wnat to have my dad or brother start a nice fire for me and my doggy to sit infront of(: ALso, it makes me want to have a nice day and night with my family playing games and such.

what I need to focus on in this essay is keeping my writing making sence. also to make sure that I am using the right format. I also need to make sure that i argue the opposing side with good facts.

The Awakening...... (: woop woop :)

Well Mr. J the thing is I have no idea what I read. I honestly did read the book and i tried to understand what was going on, but I couldn't. I did find the little keys on the bottom of the pages quite helpful, it was a nice little touch to the book. This book wasn't necessarily boring, but I wouldn't say that i got into it as much as I had intended on. I guess if I had to recommend this book I would, but I would tell the person to make sure they concentrate on it and follow along really well so that they understand what they are reading and are not getting lost and confused like I did. I tried to look for the things that represented what the main topics that you had provided for us to help get the meaning of the book and it did help a little , but not much.... ): The first six chapters for me were the most boring because it was just talking about all the different people and their lives and to me that was very boring. I think if I had the option of reading this or a different book I would probably choose a different book. It was not one of my favorites from your class, but I guess we don;t always like all the books that we reed. Although I didn't really enjoy the book it was hard for me to put it down because I wanted to keep reading thinking something exciting would happen or something that would get my interested in the book. SO, I guess that was good that I didn't want to put it down... maybe I did get into the book after all and I just didn't realize it until now... wow that neat. well thats all for now tataaaa
